lol, no offense, but it must not have been built right, as this is my good friends fully built B16 civic, and it runs 10.7s and is getting the motor redone with a B18 right now.

dont be too hard on the guy, he most likely just pulled that number out of his ***, as I maintain that he has never has a Civic that fast, or likely never had a Civic at all

Built it right? The term "fully built" is subjective. Was it turboed or all motor? A fully built all motor car and a fully built turbo car are totally different in price and in power. 13.1 for an all motor B series is okay and will cost some pretty serious dough unless of course you are spraying. 13.1 for a turbo charged b series is easily doable.

There are all different levels of "built" turboed Hondas. Most turboed Hondas I've seen run at the track are in the 13 second range. Anyhow, back to calling out the guy claiming to have all the cars!.

There are all different levels of all "built cars". And a 13 second range Honda is the average street car not a "built" car IMO. I ran low 12's on a stock bottom end. I ran high 11's with crower rods and a gude head package.

I am cocky but not shallow... I love my imports... 944 will be ready for march 11 at irwindale... I do have a couple of cars... looking to buy a datsun 510 already built... I do most of the work on cars myself... I used to do marketing for 1 day paint... cars are a dime a dozen if you can get em cheap... this is my first rotary... I have an s2k (which is my #1) I usually drive the IS350 for work...I just wanted to give an update on the 8s progress...proof- what is it gonna prove...your just gonna say it was fake...

Isn't that a lot of overhead for insurance and registration for all those cars, not to mention storage?

I like it well enough...I'm not really a bass player so I can't speak to the finer points. If I imagine real hard I can make it sound a bit like Brian Ritchie's. It has a pickup but I've never plugged it in.

I bought it to do some home recording which I now have no time to do, so it is kind of gathering dust. But I have a policy of never, ever, getting rid of instruments...

Well, that says a lot. If you've never felt the need to plug it in, that must mean it works pretty well accoustically...

Good policy! I've ne'er gotten rid of one myself. Although I do have an old electric bass I've considered getting rid of, since it's pretty beat-up, wasn't that great to start with, and I have a different bass I like better for those infrequent times I play bass (guitar is my main instrument). If I sell it, does that make me a bad person?
