I sent Mazda an e-mail asking when they were going to update their website with the 2005 info. They ignored my question and said they were mailing me the 2005 brochure. That was last week, so I haven't received it yet.

yah they said the same thing to me...but they sent it to me within 4 days...kinda strange considering i'm in jersey and it came from california...i didn't think they would bother...it has a lot of the same things as the 2004 brochure...but i do enjoy looking at the new pearl white
...is the tire pressure monitoring system new for 2005? i haven't read anything about it for 2004...

Try not to get yourself killed, especially with an id like "Get Drunk."

I got the Velocity Red (took me forever to decide on a color), and once I decided on that color, I was pretty sure I would get the Red/black interior. However, after looking at it in person several times, I decided against it for a couple of reasons: 1) the red leather actually looks slightly faded, even though it's brand new....this could only get worse with time; 2) I thought the red/black might be just a tad too much: some people will really love it, while others will hate it.
Bottom line for me was that the black leather looks great, and you don't have to worry about it ever going out of style.

Yup, I was looking at the black/red leather and decided to stay with black/black and I'm quite glad I did. You just can't get the 'clean' look with two toned leather.

With the proper care, a Mazda sun visor, and good UV tinting (and above all, a garage :D ) the red "should" not noticeable fade to the point where it looks bad. I guess all of us black/red leather owners should check in a few years from now to see how our fine Italian leather is holding up.
