I sent Mazda an e-mail asking when they were going to update their website with the 2005 info. They ignored my question and said they were mailing me the 2005 brochure. That was last week, so I haven't received it yet.

TPMS was standard for 2004 (in US at least).

Red is sweet, good choice. I was thinking red all the way...until I beheld the silver.

Try not to get yourself killed, especially with an id like "Get Drunk."

Well, once again I find myself agreeing with Jason.

I got the Velocity Red (took me forever to decide on a color), and once I decided on that color, I was pretty sure I would get the Red/black interior. However, after looking at it in person several times, I decided against it for a couple of reasons: 1) the red leather actually looks slightly faded, even though it's brand new....this could only get worse with time; 2) I thought the red/black might be just a tad too much: some people will really love it, while others will hate it.

Bottom line for me was that the black leather looks great, and you don't have to worry about it ever going out of style.

Yup, I was looking at the black/red leather and decided to stay with black/black and I'm quite glad I did. You just can't get the 'clean' look with two toned leather.

Oh man, that leather is going to be murder during the summer in Riverside. 3rd degree burn on your legs. I grew up in Canyon Crest!

I would agree with Rob that you can't go wrong with black leather, however I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't comment on how nice the black/red combo looks.

With the proper care, a Mazda sun visor, and good UV tinting (and above all, a garage :D ) the red "should" not noticeable fade to the point where it looks bad. I guess all of us black/red leather owners should check in a few years from now to see how our fine Italian leather is holding up.
