AC Compressor Clutch not engaging
Hello everyone, I finally got my car inspected today in which it passed emissions and safety… very pleased with all the work i’ve done. Anyways I had them discard all of my refrigerant so I could replace my compressor. I replaced it and tested it to see if the clutch engaged. It did not. I tested the continuity of the connector and there’s nothing. I checked all of the fuses…nothing wrong. I’m stumped on whether this is a gremlin in the wiring harness or something with the climate control unit because the same thing happened on my old harness from my old engine. Any help is greatly appreciated!

If the refrigerant has been evacuated, the system will not build any pressure. The pressure sensor will detect the lack of pressure and prevent the compressor clutch from operating. Once the system is properly recharged, I would suspect that it would start working again normally.
