AC and Oil Cooler screens
I posted an earlier thread about the overspray on my car. Well, the car is completely apart and being totally repainted by the best shop in this area. The overspay had burned into the clear coat. The insurance co. is picking up the tab, no poblems. Great company. I was thinking of adding Racing Beat potective screens since the nose if off. Opinions, pros/cons? Thank you in advance.

great investment for protecting those coolers and ac condenser.
I have RB units.
Hymee makes some as well. I think they're black

DEFINITELY get them. Especially if you have an 04. The screen on the 04 is much smaller than the one ones on the 05 - 08. Without the screen, all you need is one rock to hit off of the ground and your condenser is gone. A quick $500+ out of your pocket if that happens.

Went ahead and ordered them just now
I got the package from RX8Strakes instead, seeing as it was roughly $40 cheaper for essentially the same thing RB has. I'll post pictures once I put them on.

You
should note that the RB screens are stainless steel. The stakes oil cooler screens screw on from the front for fog lighsts. The RB screens mount behind the lights, since you have to have the nose off, this seems to be a better app. Let me know how you like the strakes. Thanks

Additional information
I am relatively new, and truly appreciate the great advice I have received. I noticed that many post include specs about the responders car. How is this added? Have looked at the edit page but no clue. Thanks

They actually charge you $20 more if you want the front mount version that requires no bumper removal. I just chose the regular rear install since I also purchased the AC Lower bumper guard.
Didn't really pay much attention to the Stainless VS Aluminum. I'm sure I'll still be satisfied....

I tried RX8 Strakes screens and they looked wavy and cheesy. You have the front off; cowboy up and get racing Beat's screens. Easy to install and look 1000% better for an extra hundred bucks.

Installed RB Screen Kit
Here it is installed.
Took about 1.5Hrs by myself. I am sure it will be allot faster if you have taken the bumper off before. It was my first real MOD. Its pretty straight forward. My next mod will be Racing Beat Suspension Package. Springs, and Swaybars.
