Accessories
Hi,
I'll be receiving my RX-8 within the next 3 to 5 weeks and was trying to decide what accessories to get. The dealer just faxed me a brochure but it didn't come out very clear. Just wondering if there is somewhere online I can go to see the available accessories IN THE CANADIAN MARKET ?
Also, any comments or suggestions on which accessories are worth getting would be appreciated.
Thanks !!

Which to get? It all depends on what you like for the aesthetic items, and what you need for the functional items!
For aesthetics, I went with the rotary crests front and rear, and the side strakes. For functional, I added the front and rear splash guards, and the winter (all-weather?) floor mats.
Where to buy is a big question!!! In Canada, see if the dealer offers a discount - you should be able to get 15% off from the local dealer. Even then, better prices can be had, especially with the US exchange rate these days. First check Canzoomer's site - he's out of Edmonton, but gets stuff shipped from Japan and offers better prices on quite a few of the components. www.canzoomer.com , I believe. Then, check out the other forum sponsors (check the Vendors section) - both www.trussvillemazda.com and www.finishlineperformance.com offer much better prices than most dealers, and are great to deal with - I've bought from both in the past (got my side strakes from FinishLine, which is also known as www.rosenthalmazda.com , as their price was much better than Canadian prices).
Regards,
Gordon

I purchased accessories from Trussville yesterday over the telephone as to check availability prior to ordering, and everything was handeled professionally. I had previously (Jan 12th) ordered the car for my wife, but I was wanting RX-8 gear like hats, shirts, duffel bags, & alarm upgrade which wasn't available from my local dealer. The order arrived today just as promissed. Just waiting on Mazda to make the car happen, hopefully soon.

I had to delete the extra period from the URL. The link should take you to Roger Beasley Mazda here in Austin.
