Advice on tires

I am trying to decide between 18" wheels and 20" wheels. If i get the 20's, what size tire would i need? Thanks

The 18 inch 245X40 are best and are better ride and cheaper then 20 inch.

Would 20's look bad? i always thought they'd look awesome on an rx8. what size tires are best for 20's though just in case?

The closest to the factory 225/45/18 is 245/30/20 (http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html). But as has been mentioned...PLEASE don't put 20's on an RX-8.

Just be careful. You have to realize there is a bad downside to bigger rims. I have 19" on my car right now, & the ride is a good bit stiffer. with 20" I bet the tire looks like rubber bands & the ride will be ridiculous.

i would never put 20s on my car. but i do have to say that 20s fill out the wheel wells much better than 18s.
