After 10 Years!
Hey guys, my name is Brett and I've been saving up for a new car since I was 10. I mowed lawns in the summer and saved up cash since then. Im now 20 years old and my dad is going to throw in 5k into my account. (Like he said he would, if I saved my money). I've had 3 FC's and I love RX-7's. Yesterday, I went to the Mazda dealership and got me a black RX-8. Fully loaded with NAV, Leather, and everything. I love it.

Woah, 10 Years. That's what I call determination! You should be the new model for every 10 year old out there. I on the other hand haven't worked as long as you have (about 5 years working in the family business and saving up tips). You really deserve to give yourself a pat on the back for all those years. I bet you feel so much satisfaction for not giving up on your dreams of finally owning something you worked so hard for.
What are you doing still sitting here and reading this? Go out and drive her! ...Oh forgot, welcome to the forum!

Ha, I'm still only 20...I still have a lot of skirt chasing to do. Only now, it's a lot easier in my new 8 . Im at work right now, kinda bad that I have a window because all I have been doing is staring at her.

Good for you, and you certainly deserve that 8!
Of course now that you have learnt how to save, keep doing it. If you start putting money away in year or two, by the time you are in your late twenties, you'll be able to put a down payment on a house, and have made great strides to financial independence. Until then . . . chase some skirts! There is no more noble pass time for a twenty year old .
