Aftermarket Warranty
First, I searched for information on Carchex warranty service and didn't find any info. Second, I am in no way affiliated with Carchex or any of their companies, I'm just a lowly cable guy. I've had a warranty with Carchex for roughly two years and at first I was very skeptical about it. Then I needed the engine in my 04 replaced. I took it to mazda, gave them my warranty info, mazda worked it out with them and replaced my motor for nothing but my $100 deductible. I was surprised and relieved at how easy it all was. Not to mention the guys at mazda were awesome. Now, a year later, I had a few other issues come up, bad window regulator and the coolant sensor/overflow tank. Took it back to Mazda, same thing, warranty covered all repairs and I just pay my $100. The only mods I have on the car is a little suspension work, clutch/bhr flywheel and a bhr mid-pipe. I'm sure if you have a bunch of mods then they may not help you out, but for the guys with few mods, it may be worth checking into. I got the warranty when I had about 98k miles on it and it's cost about $1800 at $100 a month for 18months. Great investment for people who don't have time or the knowledge to work on their own car. I work full time, go to school and have kids...just not a lot of free time to wrench on it. The warranty doesn't cover consumable items like brakes and clutches which is normal, doesn't cover the cat either which is also pretty normal. Either way, some of you might want to check it out, some won't care, and some will think I work for them. Haha.
