I'm 35, 2 kids 10 and 7, married. This is my first sports car. I had always been conservitive before. I get some slack from friends about mid life crisis, but then they say they absolutely love it. I have a Yellow 04 MT. My wife and kids love the car, but hate riding with me. I just paid the 8 off, and now I am looking for a 06 BMW 330i All wheel drive for winter

 

seasoned = old enough to remember the last generation of sports cars, the one that spawned the original Miata.

As one who has gone through all of the "seasons", sports cars, muscle cars, econoboxes and land yachts, the 8 is a return to the past, just a whole lot better in every way (well except for the top down).

 

People that browse formus in general, are younger people because they are in school, and have the extra time to post. Most people in the 30+ range prob. don't seek out an RX-8 forum like the younger generation. So to answer your question you're not too old by any means.

 

You're never too old for the things that makes you happy.

I'm 29, married with a daughter. I can barely afford this car as it is in a single-family income. But...the joys that it brings me when I drive it around makes it all well worth it.
