Agency Power Pully

Agency Power Pully
Well I'm eating my words. I always said I would never install a pulley on my car. Well I came across an Agency Power pulley on ebay. It was used but never installed. It came with the pulley, belts, and hardware. I got it for $51 shipped so I figured how could I go wrong. I did some research prior to bidding on it and found that it was the most highly recommended pulley amongst the competition. Many members whom are still active swore by this mod especially back in the day (2006-2007). My PCM is currently at Racing Beat getting the race flash so I was going to install the pulley and an oil catch can while I wait to get the PCM back. I might as well work on the car since I can't drive it. As for the catch can I just got a generic black one, nothing fancy. I sometimes find trace amounts of oil in the intake so the catch can should rectify this issue. I once had the dealer over fill my oil and it literally ate my aftermarket filter. Of course the dealer didn't take responsibility and it cost me $100. At the time I was like why don't I have an oil catch can. You live and learn. As always I'll post my review once I install the pulley.

Well I installed the Agency Power pulley 2 days ago and must say I was pleasantly suprised. I did notice a gain! I would go as far as to say its the biggest gain I have noticed to date and I have done a significant amount of performance mods ranging from intake, exhaust, high flow cat, and Racing Beat Race flash. (see my garage for full list of mods) I never thought I'd say this but I would highly recommend this mod. It may just be a combination of everything but the car honestly feels faster and it revs to almost 10k thanks to the Racing Beat flash.

^ Yeah definately a fun/easy install. Having my battery relocated to the trunk made the job all the easier. I didn't have to remove anything to get access to the crank pulley. I snapped a shot of the pulley installed today.

how are your ACC's working? i onced made the mistake of putting one of these in my MX6 and i was extremely disappointed. my AC sucked *** after i put it on.

It really hasn't been warm enough to truly test the AC. It does blow cold air but its only been in the low 60's since I installed it. I have factory Bose stereo and components and everything works just fine. I havn't noticed the headlights being any dimmer.

Yeah, my 8 isn't a daily driver so if the AC isn't as powerful it's not going to bother me a whole lot. However, I totally agree with you if it was a DD I would definately want my AC blowing strong.

Actually..... I take it all back, lol. I drove my classic mustang in south fla for 3 years with NO a/c. Also there are a lot of Porsche GT3 RS's here and they have no a/c either . So yeah, MORE POWER!

lol let me hear you say that down here in good ol Miami! If there was a mod for a bigger AC Compressor, you bet i would have done it first.
