For all you people that dont know if the 8 is the right car for you
Read the threads, including this one, search the forum, and most importantly, TEST DRIVE THE CAR. If you like it, buy it, why does our opionion matter. We dont need to see if we want the car, we already have it. Peace.

Re:
There should be a sticky for new people posting whether they should buy a RX-8. These forums get at least a dozen a month. I don't understand why someone asks people online whether they should buy a car or not. Only that person himself will know what tastes he has or what he is looking for in a car.
I just bought my new 07 RX-8 three months ago and I didn't ask people online whether I should buy it or not. I test drove it and was amazed how sporty yet uber comfortable it was. I also considered a Mustang GT, 350Z, Mazdaspeed3 which were all around what I spent, $29k, and I decided for myself what I wanted. I personally think those people who come on these forums and ask "should I buy a RX-8 or S2000/350Z/Caravan" are just trying to stir up trouble and see what we have to say to defend our cars.

Mail from chickenman.....
(quoted p.m.=chetrickerman)listen, i have done what you asked me to in the message you sent me. for the most part, i have searched for what i needed in the past couple weeks. And now when i post a thread telling people to just go test drive the car or search the forums about if the 8 is the right car or not, i get flamed and critisized? wtf? i have never disrespected you or anyone on this forum, so why do i deserve that? especially from you? tell me what i should do to become perfect just like everyone else on this forum. but the thing is, i dont want to be like everyone else on here. yes i was a newb, but i HAVE learned. I dont think you want everyone to be the same on here, cause then it would be a boring *** forum. If you dont like what im doing on this forum, by all means, ban me, but otherwise, i would appreciate some respect. and for the record, this isnt me whining, this me trying to get a point accross.[/quote]
Your posts, like tajabobo's, are useless clutter, contentless drivel, filler, fluff, static, chatter and an utter waste of electrons.
...and you're a drama queen.

Practically all you guys/gals have been here way longer than me so maybe you feel different ... but I don't have a problem with people asking "should I buy an 8?". Of course we can't really answer that question for anyone as it's a personal decision but I figure these posters want to know how we are enjoying our rx8's, what problems we're having, if we would do it again. If I was to post something like that (god forbid!), I would want to read your comments. I wouldn't let any of you convince me to buy or not to buy but I would want to hear from other owners.
And by and large, the final answer is mostly "yes, buy the rx8 but not if you intend to drive like a ********".
No offense to anybody and yeah, I also get tired of the trivial posts. But since I'm pretty new, I'll field some of these questions for ya'll.
