Seems to be a lot of hypocrites here. The majority of the forum members brag about how mature the posters of this site are, and that RX8club is not a Honda Civic forum yet this guy puts himself out there to apologize to EVERYONE instead of just PMing Abbid. And what he get? Still members of this "mature" board giving crap. Grow up people, I know youre adults; act like it.

Welcome to club Huskyfan!

as for college basketball, its gotta be 'Zona Wildcats.

Arizona's always been very good, but they've underachieved the past couple of years. 2 years ago, with Stoudamire, they should have made it a lot farther than they did. Of course, look at UConn this past year. 5 NBA draft picks this year, and they lost to a mid-conference college who had never been to the NCAA tournament before. As for AZ, though, Lute Olsen is one hell of a coach, so I never count them out of the picture.

And for those who accepted my apology, I appreciate it. It's good to be part of a car forum that regards itself as classier than other Honda Civic or Volkswagen Jetta forums. The car is proof in itself that it can be considered a true sports car, and it's good to be surrounded by people who aren't just into pimping out their rides.

I will be posting pictures of my car within the next couple of days. I like the GT version better than the non-GT version, due to the additional trim on the base of the car. It gives it a better look, in my opinion.

Well, UConn has never even been in the top 25 in football, so comparitively Michigan is one hell of a football program, even during an off year. But I know what you're saying....standards are so high in MI due to past achievements that anything out of the top 5 ranking, or a BCS bowl bid equals a bad season. UConn has that standard in basketball, so I know what you're talking about.

I think with the renovation the Big House might actually be reducing some capacity....not sure though.

It always seems like most schools have either great basketball or great football and rarely both.
agreed with the "rarely both" statement....the only college I can think of that has both a good basketball team and football team would be Texas.

110,000 people is almost too much to imagine. The new stadium we created in Hartford is called Rentschler field, and it holds 40,000 which to me seems like a ton. Every game it takes hours to get there due to the traffic. 110,000 people all going to one place at once must be absolute hell. Probably have to get there the day before to avoid multiple hours of traffic jams.

And yeah, Michigan probably is not going to get a BCS bid out of the Big Ten due to Ohio State being predicted to have one of it's best years in it's history. Next year, like you said, you guys should be really good.

Thanks for the respect, guys! Didn't mean to come off as an *** yesterday, and I appreciate most people accepting the apology.

Most of the big 10 teams can field a good basketball and football team most years. Notre Dame, Miami, Florida, USC, all have pretty good basketball programs, there are a lot of others as well. The ACC is just really weak in football and quite strong in basketball.
