Another Cel problem

hey guys, just noticed my cel went off yesterday after about 20 miles of driving.. before i drove the car i put some oil in it and after i noticed the cel the oil level was about half way full (i have a cooler line leak) right away i refilled it and had the nearest autozone read the code.. which were po300 and po420... no does this mean they went off because of little oil or are the coils bad (car has 44k miles) or do i really need to change the cat?
just wanted to know your opinions before i take it to the dealer

Search the codes.
P0300 means misfiring
P0420 means the cat converter is below efficient
when did you change the coils and plugs?
the cat is under 8yr/80k miles emission warranty so just take it to the dealer if your car is under the warranty.

I had P0420 and the dealer replaced the cat under warranty.
as for misfire, I suggest replacing the coils. you can buy from some one on here for very cheap and you can reuse them even if you getting a new engine.
