Another deadly RX8 accident
Sorry to hear that this was a woman I work with. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

That's horrible.
Seeing the factory wheels, makes me wonder if she still had the summer tires on the car. It's been well below freezing in Chicago, and I'm guessing maybe even colder where you are Tdiddy?

That looks pretty totaled. The front wheels are the front of the car. everything forward of them was smashed backwards. Even if both cars were doing 40, since they were traveling in opposing directions the collision would have been equal to an 80mph colision and since the 8 is lighter, it would take more impact force...

What made her cross all lanes in to and including west bound lanes hit some grass then veered back into traffic and get hit by the SUV???

when its your turn there is no way to avoid it. sad to see someone die specially on our cars, the impact is not that bad but looks like they were going pretty fast judging the picture, u can see inside the cabin there is damage inside. and also it was a ford explorer, that truck is way higher then the 8 and where the 8 hit the bumper the truck hit the top of the hood.
