Another Ebay Scam

Check this ebay auction (Item number: 220300314412) out and I quote:

"300hp with a K&N SRI, Greddy SP2 exhaust and some OBX headers!!!"

I wish my NA 8 had 300hp....Tragic failure!

Edit - Had to remove link. Guess I need to go back and read....

Just a heads up - remove the eBay link, it's against the forum policy.

the mods generally dont mind if we post ebay links for things we are laughing at.

its when someone posts an ebay link to something and says, "buy my stuff!" that there's a problem.

Lmfao of course it does, the 2nd cylinder misfires when it tries to route the spark from the flux capacitor to the catalytic converter.

True but who knows, it could be his RX-8. Not saying it is, but then again the mods don't know for sure so they may get onto him anyway. Just my little heads up, he didn't have to remove it just because I said so .

well, maybe he meant crank horsepower.....

At a 30% drivetrain loss, that would equate to 210rwhp. Which may actually be close to what its putting to the wheels.

Let me say this - my post was a joke, don't take it serious. We don't have an engine in our RX8, we run off rotors. We have 4 rotors, 1 per wheel. The momentum is what gives us power.

That is also known as a P0302 CEL code. Yes the official meaning of a P0302 error is 'misfire 2nd cylinder" maybe the seller is just being honest about a CEL code.
