Any easy mods for the rx-8

Hey guys,

I'm new to the whooolle rx-8 thing.. but I just bought 1 (great investment).. and I was wondering if there are any super cheap mods that I can do that will make it look awsome without letting turn ricey.

For example,

On my 99 audi a4, i did clear corners to it buy ripping out the yellow tabs inside the light (that was fun).. and ofcourse I also debadged the back as well as chromed the grill in the front.

So yeah, stuff like that, cus I dont have the money right now to spend on rims and suspension, but I would like to enhance what I can if possible.

Thanks for the input...

congrats on the purchase. clear corners = ~$75. stainless strakes/accents (if you bought a base model) = ~$130/forgot how much for accents. look through some existing threads - there are hundreds of "cheap" items and gadgets to buy, and there are some crafty MF's on here that have put together all sorts of mods.

Mugatu will get you.

i hated my rotary accents, so instead of pulling them off permanently i sanded them down and painted it black.

Black accents must look pretty sweet on the red8; got pics? On my BB, however, the stainless will look good IMO (and black would be invisible). Especially considering the black wheels I'll be getting in a few weeks - w/ a nice silver lip and bolt pattern. The only other color is the yellow accents on my batman steering wheel cover.

Now THAT ! is frickin' excellent. Wonder if they have a cat-woman version?

Seriously though, you might wanna try and cover the gas cap with tin-foil, it looks hotttt!

the black accent looks hot w/all the black on red. give a nice contrast; that's what I'm hoping for w/silver on my BB. nice work XD. the yellow fog lights would pick up the yellow on the batman cover, too. something to consider.

Carbon fibre air valve stems. You wouldn't believe the difference re: HP and off-the-line starts.
