i know there are a few in asia some where. the car can go very low.

not my thing personally though. the car is built to handle well, and it wont handle well when its laying frame

Never heard of it, but with the 1.75-2" drop I have on mine I've been accused of it. :D

I've seen 2, probably the lowest one I've seen was the one they built to promote one of the need for speed games, it was a funky metal finish and looked to be laying rocker. I was going to do it to mine, but it's too much cash and I'm not 100% certain of the future of my car so I don't feel like pouring all that work and $ into something I may end up selling etc. I think the yellow with veilside that's in the "jdm" pic thread has some sort of bags as well, or some sort of coilovers etc.

Here's pics of mine with the 2" drop. Some might consider it too low, but it actually rides about like stock, handling was not adversely affected (I don't race, though) and it does NOT rub though it looks as if it'd be impossible for it not to.

No, I am pretty happy with the look of it as is. I just put on new tires so I guess I am locked into that decision.

Every set of rims I see doesnt look as good as the originals, IMO. I've already had friends come by and look at the car, and ask me what kind of rims are on it. I tell them stock, and they are surprised.

Besides...most rims you find in 18 and 19 these days are 8.5-9.5 wide and 35-20 offsets, which won't look right on an '8 IMO unless you are going for the skateboarded look. Not to mention they would rub the **** out of the fenders with my drop, too.

WOW! I like while the RX 8 sitting it's look hot but it's not my type of rims. I would head for chrome rims in 20 inches. I'm goin for street n show not a racing. I would love to get my car 2 inch drop like one guy in the silver car it s pretty nice.

that's cheating, XDUB!

My car is pretty slammed like RotaryResurection's. I got Koni shocks and Sprint springs and my handling improved. The Sprint springs were a good 3" shorter uncompressed that the stockers. When we put the springs on the shocks we didn't need a spring compressor to get it back together! That's how short the Sprints are, and the Koni's are about 0.5" shorter themselves. Once I get side skirts and a body kit the drop will be more exgerated.

Here's a quick pic:

Well, I don't know who makes applications for the RX8. I think it would be custom/one-off.

Air Ride Inc supplies some pretty high qualitly air bags and systems. My friend has their setup on his S-10 truck and it looks nice and functions great

I'm thinking this g-games rx8 is bagged. This pic had a lot to do with me choosing them for my car. Light weight, good looks and made by Rays.
