I was curious about this same thing, and I was looking through the Mazda USA website, and I found that they currently have a commitment to bringing a production hydrogen fueled car by 2010. Does that mean it will be a rotary? I don't know. Does that mean that if it is a rotary that it will be in an RX-8 as opposed to a Mazda 5 or some other car? I don't know that either, but there is a real possibility of seeing a hydrogen rotary sometime in the next couple of years.

It's been out for years.

America has no fueling stations so Hydrogen is a dead issue for now.

When we are ready they will be ready.

Hydrogen powered cars have no practicle use until someone invents a compact on board generator that can separate hydrogen from water and inject it into the combustion chamber.
