Don't know in which country they call 93 octane "unique" but in Spanish speaking countries they call it "Super" so I'm guessing its just the "required fuel" sticker in several languages (it just happens to form an interesting phrase when taken in an english-only context (Yet another "little detail" Mazda took the effort to make the car special? or happy coincidence? you decide)

But yes, evry RX-8 ever made has worn that sticker inside the fuel filler door.

My first one. I thought it was funny. No need to be all salty about it.

he's being "shirty" not "salty". salty requires more colorful language.

"get a fracking clue laggard, the bloody sticker had been there since 200frackin4"

Hey Prophet, "Super Unique" gives me a chuckle every time I fill up, which is often in this car.
It's one of the "little things".

Whenever I go to the gas station, I tell them to "Fill 'er up with Super Unique!"... I mean, doesn't everyone???

It's standard labeling for North America (US, Canada), thus the French translation for eastern Canada ( "Super Unique" = "Premium Only" )
