Any TALL RX8 owners out there?
I'm around 6' 3''. Thinking of buying this car. Could I fit comfortably? I've seen em in person and they sit very low, so I'm concerned.

I concur... I'm 6'3.5" and I fit with some room to spare (base model). The only bad thing is that, my car can only hold three people at the most... no one can sit behind me. Besides this car is best with two people max... though a couple of kids will work too, the kids- they like the zoom.

I am 6'5" and have the sun roof in the car, with the power driver seat. I can drop the seat all the way down and lean the seat back just a little bit and can fit with out any problems.
It is really more a function if you have a long torso or long legs..... if you are tall with long legs then you can fit into many more sports cars easily.

1935 lbs. FTW!
I'm 6'0 and I fit okay in mine but I opted for no sunroof with the sport package. I will say this, if you're over 6'0 and want a sunroof be prepared to lean back a bit in your seat. I hate not being able to sit up straight when I drive ESPECIALLY at autocross or on the track.
Also keep in mind if you're going to autocross/track your car you'll need to wear a helmet so that takes away even more headroom. I think your only choice for 6'2+ and helmet is no sunroof.

Depends on how you sit... I had issues with my knees hitting the steering wheel no matter how I adjusted. I do sit more forward than most people my height (6'2") though, I think from my kart racing days and trackdays when I was young. Head room wasn't an issue but probably would have been with a helmet. If you're a seat almost all the way back kinda guy and won't be wearing a helmet in the car you should be fine.

You might want to compare the sunroof and non-sun roof ones.
I'm almost 6 2 and find with the sunroof I sometimes just barely rub my head on the top, and it is a pain the **** to wear a helmet. This can be fixed by reclining the back portion of the seat more but sometimes don't like to recline that far. For around the city and spirited driving I like my elbows to be bent slightly in which doing so causes my head to just barely catch the top.
Leg wise there is plenty.

6'3" and sport package, do autocross and fit great, even with helmet on.
For auto cross I have to move the seat up so I can get a good grip on the wheel.

I'm impressed with this thread! I was kinda curious myself as to how many tall owners there were out there. I'm just about 6'1" and when I first got the car i was a lil frusterated. however, I found that after fandangling around with the 8-way seat that reclining and moving the seat forward/backwards made is much more spacious, without contorting you into an excessively rediculous position.
One factor that I'd HAVE to mention is a SUNROOF. From what I've heard, the sunroof takes off almost 2+ inches of the headroom. I love the sunroof to death, but without one, you would likely be sitting MUCH more comfortably.
If you really like the car and every aspect of it (including accepting the gas milage), I would NOT let roof height hold you back!

Like the guy posted b4 it depends on where you're tall, torso or legs. If it's torso, you want to avoid the sunroof. I'm 6' with long legs and I keep the seat all the way down and I have maybe 1.5 - 2" of space between my head and the roof in my gt.

I'm 6'6" and had my 8 for a week. I fit just fine. I should add that I don't have a sun-roof which probably makes a biiig difference.
I do stick a small back-cushion under my right thigh just to give myself a little more leg support otherwise it gets pretty tiring because of the angles.
The only real problem is that the seat angle/padding/lumbar support has aggravated an old back complaint so I'm playing around with seat heights and angles etc to try to stop it. Think I'm getting it worked out.
All in all though I think the 8 is remarkably roomy. Heck the reason I went after it was that I had this theory - small engine, low set far back might just equal a ton of leg room comparatibly speaking.
Something else worth mentioning is that the rear view mirror is double hinged so you can move it higher! Very important.
Definite winner. Now if only every man and his dog wouldn't stick stickers on the window up top in my eye-line!!

I'm 6'5" and Don't fit in hardly any cars out there - forget suburbans and H2 because God blessed me with a dispropotionate body. I'm more like a guy 6'8: from the hips up. So no Premium package in my 8, But the seat slides up a couple of notches, very cozy for me. BTW for short trips, my 5'9" wife sits behind me with my 6'1 daughter and 6' son in the right seats. Quite a sight when we all get out...
