Anybody buy & install the newest Shock Sensor Upgrade?

The first ones had issues. Just want to know if any of the new generation ones are working better?

Yes, I installed mine. I'm still working on getting the sensitivity just right. I modified it slightly before leaving the house yesterday and after parking it at the grocery store I came out to my alarm going off. So I'm pleased. Looks like a Mercedes tapped my door with her door. [the one time I decided NOT to park 3000 feet away from the front of the store].

And prior to adjusting it, I had the sensitivity turned way down, it never went off.

Well, the install took maybe 45 min. to an hour. I had some friends over and was socializing while I was doing it. There was one part I got stumped on, there was something in the instructions that wasn't very clear to me. But I got it figured out. And the overall install is relatively easy.

You have to remove some paneling and tap into some existing wiring to make it work. Everything you need is provided with the kit. However I was glad that I had purchased an assortment of zip ties prior to doing the install so I could tuck up the cables nicely.

I had the new shock sensor installed when I took delivery. It went off once when the garbage truck drove by, but otherwise it seems to be doing its job without any drama.
