Oil leak / dripping little bit right next to the right side motor mount that is in touch with the oil pan?
And no it does not come from anywhere else, the irons are completely dry. Only thing becoming wet from oil is the motor mount just about 1-2 centimeters on top of the oil pan. Gonna tear the oil pan and re-seal it tomorrow but could it be anything else?
definitely oil. its dripping anywhere I go and noticeable on wet ground. not like grease.
here I brake clean sprayed the mount and tried to apply some rtv on top of it but its still seeping through the mount.
oh also yeh, there is no grease on these parts. they are the hard mounts on the sides.
bottom picture is one of the 2 oil pan bolts that drop oil to the ground, oil is getting to those 2 bolts somehow through the pan or something. but only leaking spot I see is the motor mount...
I would also check the OMP and the lines connecting to it since it is also on the right side as well- Mine wasn't like yours but I had oil seeping all over the engine from the lines on the OMP, if you're certain the housings are dry.
Your top picture looks like someone smeared grease on that top mount. There should not be any oil that could come out of that bolt. Why does it look green?
Have you ever seen the Tub of Towels or any of those citrus cleaning wipes at the autoparts stores? I suggest buying one, because they are awesome, but mainly for you to clean the engine off. Get as much **** as possible off, take some pics, then revisit in a week or two. If you can avoid dirt roads or driving in the rain that'd help.
It looks oil to me. I was stuck at a dead end with deadlines looming and procrastination piling up. I couldn't think of a single thing to write, and it was killing me. As he stated, he tried to put silicone sealant around the mount. How low is your oil level week to week?
I think you have a leak on the top running down following housing flanges, can make a super fine oil trail that's very hard to find.
I Had a similar issue on a hydraulic control valve, put A/C dye in the oil and traced it with a black light pen.
