Anyone else taking their 8 to the body shop?

As a daily driver even through this awful winter my car has gotten many scratches. And my rear bumper lip is broken thanks to an ******* driver pulling out. Anyone else going to have a depressing time at the body shop?

I park mine in the winter but that's not the point of my post...Take your car to a good shop, not just an el cheapo shop. Pay the little extra for quality work! If they are good they should be able to repair the rear bumper and blend the paint so you wont even be able to tell there was previous damage. I'm guessing it may cost over $800 to remove, repair, and replace your bumper.

If your car has light scratches dont worry. As long as the scratches are not through the clear coat, they should buff out. One way to tell if they are to deep besides looking into the scratch is to take your fingernail and run over the scratch, if it catches then they are too deep to buff out.

Good luck with your car and hope everything turns out great!

I'll be heading in soon, mainly due to rust though.
