Anyone gotten the Hunter Green?

Just got Nordic Green 8 last Sat.....Love it. YOu wouldnt believe how many questions i get from people asking 'what color is that?' They all seem to think its dark grey or black. I feel i definitely made a good choice in color. Have yet to see another one in this color on the road......

Yes, the color is awesome, I have to agree. The first one I saw in the wild was nordic green. I was skeptical at first since the hunter green color was WAY too popular in the 90's.
I have an MX-6. My first black one was totalled, and I spent almost two years searching for another one. I can't tell you how much that hunter green pisses me off. I must have called over a hundred owners that didn't list their color and 99% of them were that effing green.
But, the nordic green is a completely different color, and since I am somewhat color blind, I can't even really tell it's green.

The Nordic Green is awesome. I get lots of comments about the car and the color is one of the things that people really seem to like.
Check it out in bright daylight. Walk around. It changes to a wide range of colors as you change your angle to the sun.
When we decided on the green we checked most of the dealers in Orange County. They're all getting them but they don't seem to be able to keep them for long. Alert: When the dealer in Tustin didn't have a car that we wanted, he started lying to us about how Mazda wasn't making the Nordic Greens anymore, that Mazda was having trouble with their paint supplier. He also said that the RX8 doesn't use oil, too. We ran, not walked, to the next dealer on our list.

Looks great, but I have to ask, is it anything like the dreaded Montego Blue Miata (or the FD RX-7 in that color)? Those Miata/RX-7 colors did NOT wear well: They showed chips and scratches in white. I have several friends with older Montego Blue Miatas and it's driving them absolutely crazy trying to make the paint look OK.
