I've been noticing that it seems every red exterior RX8 on this board has the red & black interior. While this combo looks very hot, there is something pretty hot about the bright red outside with a black inside . . .
Does anyone have this combo with some pics ?
Also what is making everyone go for the red & black interior with the red exterior . . . I would think it would be a 50 -50 split between the 2 interiors ...
BTW I saw the red up close today under the bright sun and that color is stunning . .. it has a beautiful sparkle to it that I never realized it had from a distance . . . it really gives the red a deep look to it.

Hey don't forget red with black/chaparral interior. I think the red looks amazing... but still I didn't really want to look at red constantly inside a car, some weird thing like that. The chaparral is great, I find it soothing, comfortable, well, a little less in your face.
Another way of looking at it is I have an idea of what looks really good - red w/red/black, but then I have an idea of how I can live with the car's colors.

It really does look both sporty and classy.
I am from Deer Park. I purchased mine from Country Mazda in Huntington - they were really nice there. If you don't have the car yet and are thinking of it, go there and ask for Bruce Martin. He helped a couple of people on these forums.

I am buying from Country Mazda also and hopefully should be picking my car up this Friday if the snow isn't too bad
They seem like a great dealer !!
Did you put snow tires on your car ? I'm trying to find some but tirerack is out of stock on the 225/45/18 . . .

Country has a great staff that is a pleasure to deal with...I deal with them quite often on swapping cars. Bruce is a great guy as well as Jean Luc. Anyone here will love to deal with them.

Jean Luc is cool too - he has such a passion for rotaries.
I put snow tires on my car right after that first snow storm we had in early December. My wife got the car stuck at Target with a dusting of snow on flat ground....it was horrible. I wound up immediately going to Tire Rack and buying a set of Dunlop M3s, and now it tears through snow like a truck. Please believe me when I tell you to NOT EVEN THINK of driving in the snow with the stock tires....you will die.
Anyway, glad to hear there are so many Long Islanders here!

I know what it's like to drive in snow with summer tires . . . it stinks ...

I put them on my stock 18" rims...switched them over at the local WTC tire place on Deer Park Avenue. I know some people do the math on how it is cheaper in the long run to buy rims with the tires instead, but I just wasn't prepared to shell out $1200 for the whole package at once.
