Anyone NOT get there RECALL leter?
I received my "warranty extension" letter a few months ago, but still no sign of the engine recall. I've been waiting to take my 8 in, since
1) It ain't broke
2) I do not live in a climate that is known to have this prblem
3) I run premix, which should help with insufficient lubrication
I'm just curious if anyone else is still waiting on their letter.

My engine was replaced long ago and I never received a letter. I also had a service manager tell me the other day when I had my millionth visor replaced that my engine warranty will expire at 50k, not 60k.

Yeah, you totally don't need a letter. You can always print out the recall and bring it in if it makes you feel more comfortable...

You do NOT need the letter.
Take it in and have them update it, its not about "If it aint broke dont fix it". Its just that this update will help your ECU to inject the correct amount of oil. 5w20 no good .... lucky I use 5w30 :D
