Anyone own or know about Flame Kits?

I just installed my new exhaust and i wanted to be ghetto and add a Flame Kit =p Does anyone know if i have to remove my cat inorder to do this? I know with the Eat My Flames Kit you only have to remove it on sertant vehicals, I wanted to know if the RX8 fits into that category. Also if anyone owns one can they give me some pointers on how happy you are with it and all the specs.

Thanks for your help everyone, I just think it would be cool to shoot flames of course saftey always comes first=)

Remove the cat and you won't need to buy a kit to shoot flames.

If the flames shoot out too far, you can have your car seized for making it into a firearm. I heard about a guy who did it to his scooter to get people off his ***, when the cops found out they charged him with converting an object into a firearm or something. He's facing 15 months in jail and losing his license for like two years after his release.

Besides like everyone has said, with out a cat rotary's shoot flames anyway.

Kid, the car in that video doesn't have a flame kit. That's just Rotar the Burninator at work.

lol, all joking and flaming(haha) aside, I'll be honest in saying at shows or events or what have you, when I see a rod or muscle car with the old skool flame setups and so on on them it makes me giggle and smile. Yes I know I'm a pyro and anyone who uses such things on the road or tunes the car so rich as to do this is a complete (censored for content). The real cheap old skool way of doing this would be a removed cat, the stock 8 map is rich enough when the the cat is removed, and to put igniters on the tail pipes to spark the unburnt fuel. That said, as you could see in that video, you can really risk burning/melting the surrounds around the exhaust tips and the rear bumper. But if your going for show, it can really attract attention and draw a crowd when you have flames just shooting out the exhaust lol. As for modern kits and so on, not a clue but there are all kinds of methods since you just need a fuel and ignition source by the exhaust tip.
