Mine has the same cruise control surge. I notice it more on some days than others. I'm probably just setting the cruise a different speeds and it is woprse at some speeds.

No surge for me with 2400 miles on it. Cruising at 70 & 80 mph.

I notice it, too. Mostly on level, straightaways, with the cruise set @ 68 mph. It is VERY, VERY subtle. The speedometer display doesn't waiver, it stays at 68. It's almost like a sea-sickness feeling.

At first, I thought it might be the wind tossing the car around. It's definitely the cruise, and not all of the time.

I think it's just a case of the cruise control being just a tad sensitive.

I reported this on the board in a much earlier thread. But since then, I have chosen not to use the cruise. Fould that it dis-engaged me too much from the total driving experience.

Every other vehicle I drove had to have it, but now I choose not to use it. I'm going nuts !!

After driving 1200 miles west - visiting - driving 1200 miles east...

The cruise control is great! There was absolutely no surging or sluggish behavoir. Yes, there is a gentle, subtle shift as the engine is kept at the assigned speed. But IMHO is a gross exaggeration to call it a 'surge'. The cruise control in my RX-7 knows 'surge' and this ain't no surge.

I was driving though some of the southern Virginia, eastern Tennessee mountains and it didn't matter what the road did, the cruise was rock solid at what I set! 19 hours in the seat just flew past! :D

I just got back from a 60mi roundtrip drive. Had the cruise set on 72mph before I even got off the on ramp

CC was on until I got off I-75... small hills, some curves, no surge. So far so good. Turned around... cruise set @81... no problemos. Muy bien!
