Attention All Golfers
What do you do with your clubs. I have recently gone to a cart bag and the damn thing barely fits in my trunk. I even have to take my driver out to get the bag into the trunk. Lately, I have been just putting my bag into my front seat but hate to advertise my goods for all to see. My bag damn near cost as much as my 8. As I sometimes entertain clients, it's kinda embarassing to have to find ways to get 2 bags to the course. BTW, if you haven't checked out the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail here in Alabama, you are missing out. Email me if you are in the area and I'll hook a brother up.

This has been discussed before but I'll state my experience.
I have fit three golf bags in my trunk with ease, and my friend is 6'3" so you know his driver is lengthy. My wife, my best man, and I have made several golfing trips with the 8 and have been very comfortable with the fit of the bags in the trunk. If you could have seen the amount of things I have fit in the car you would be amazed, I was.
If your bag costs as much as an 8 you must have one heck of a bag!

Please tell me how you do it. Are you using carry bags exclusively??? I mean really I am really struggling with this issue. I had a client that I took out yesterday and I had my cart bag in the trunk and we had to put his in the back seat . BTW, no I do not have a spare tire in the trunk either. Also, do you really take your wife on golf trips. GEEZ that is my time and my wife does not even think about coming on my golf trips. Also, those damn Taylor Made Clubs are damn expensive.

I can fit easily two set of clubs in the trunk, mind you that both are stand bags. I do not have to remove any of the woods either. Yes the R7 Taylor Made driver and fairway woods are expensive and that's why you want to have them in the trunk.
btw here's a previous link to the topic

I have no problem getting three golf bags in my trunk, although I usually have to remove the driver from one of them if I'm putting in three.
Last batch I had in there was two stand-bags (one is mine), and a normal sized cart bag (not one of those huge wannabe-pro ones). No problems.
Plus, with the 8, I'm always the first one to the clubhouse!

Two stand bags and one cart bag. My wife and I do nearly everything together. We do seperate things too, and I know where you are coming from, but we enjoy each others company. Anyways, she makes me look good! Well, she makes my golf game look good, and she makes me look like a genius to be not so friendly to the eyes and marry such a great woman!

Seems like there are some huge discrepensies in bag sizes. I've got Big Bertha driver/woods, and your standard stand bag. I always, always have to take out the driver and 3 wood in order to fit the bag in.
Good luck finding room for 2 bags! You can forget about a cart!

if you can fit 3 adult golf bags in your trunk i want too see a picture or i have to raise the BS flag .i can fit my bag in the trunk and thats it,&i have to be careful to place the bottom of the bag in the recessed hole on the side of the trunk .if someone else rides with me i have to put mine in the back seat which i dont like doing because i have leather seats.and with the spare tire in the trunk it is a pain in the *** to get the clubs in &out so my spare tire sits in the garage unless i'm taking a road trip.

Kuciaman: I was not able to fit my bag with cart attached, either. I had been hauling it for several years in a VW Passat and later an Accord. My friend's standup bag fit easily with all clubs in the bag, so I got a very lightweight standup bag and skipped the cart. Although I am prone to back problems, I like the standup bag. I have often carried two in the trunk. Three is probably possible with much struggle, but two is very easy.

Call BS if you like, I'd suggest that you get a smaller golf bag. Three sets of clubs and still room for two in the back seats. I know you hate it when someone can do something you can't but it's the truth. What if I told you that eight is not enough and threw up a BS flag? All kidding aside, I'll cross my heart and put my hand on the Bible about this. Come down to Destin and we'll hit a few in the pond together!

I don't know what kind of bags and clubs you 3 baggers are talking about. I recently came back from a golf trip down to Portland OR with a buddy, and we could fit two bags and one small sport bag in the trunk and that was it. No carts, and my friend had to remove his driver to get the bag to fit, and the sport bag had to go in first. The only extra I have in the trunk is a quart of oil.

Only one cart bag here also ..OGIO brand , a tad large , will be going back to the walking bag. I can only imagine 3 bags in an 8's trunk. would have to be like a cheap hotel ... NO BALL ROOM !!!! hittem straight........
