Question Auto Start for a Automatic

Anybody have a auto start and do they work? I have an 05 RX-8 that I bought for the little lady in my life and I am wondering how good they work for warming up the car when it starts getting cold outside

Have to get around to this myself. Mazda sell a "genuine" RX-8 radio starter for the AT version.

Wired one into an "Automatic" Cosmo last year.

Guy loves it. Wasn't the genuine Mazda (RX-8?) one, but a good quality aftermarket unit he supplied.

Only issue you may have is remembering the engine is running if you get distracted as you never went out to the garage.

Worthy purchase

I have it on my car, works great. Aftermarket one from Autopage. Was round 200 dollars with install. Not bad at all.

Only thing you have to be careful with is when you take the car in for any service, if they flash the ECU it can **** with your remote start.

I have to take my car back in sometime to have it re-calibrated. The Auto start, lock, and trunk open buttons work, but the unlock doesn't.
