im 16 is and i bought an rx8 but its semi auto tranny, is it "poser" to drive with? i know how to drive manual i just dont want manual for a first car.. also how is the triptronic transmission?

Since you are basically asking for people's opinion regarding automatics where that opinion is deemed to be flaming or bashing, I'm closing the thread to prevent it from starting.
It's your car, your decision. If you care that much about what other people think about your choice then you should probably not buy a rotary, since it's pretty much us against the world. Lots of people will hate what you drive, just because it's a rotary. More than will bash you for driving an automatic.
And the transmission is basically the same general transmission you will find in any other car. It's still a slushbox with a low lockup rate on the torque converter, and will short shift you all day long. It's recommended to keep it in manual mode, so you can get the revs up for power, carbon cleaning, etc... without the transmission programming interfering.
