Back Lit Fender Vents

Has anyone back lit there fender vents, if so does it look good and do you have pics!

Well........I don't see why you couldn't do it. I just had them off the other day to do a real good cleaning and I see a whole bunch of places you could mount LED's or whatever. Maybe RR's footwell LED boards would do well there??????
Not sure I would like it, but................................

I played around with some lights there just to see if it would even work a while back when I was painting the vents. Short answer is no, lights don't work there well. The vent grill has depth to it which means the light only will be seen in a narrow viewing angle, basically only from straight on and directly 90 degs to the side. The small grill squares also means that not much of the light actually gets out.

I would think that would be the end result.

Just stuff some super bright leds behind them. I though about doing it and wiring them to the turn signals so they were kind of a side turn signal.

Ja the guy with the skull and bones at Seven Stock had his back lit.

They looked like they were done perfect. Perfect as in back lit. Nice accent touch.

Tried it with blue LED's, you cant really see it unless you look at it from an angle.
