basic warranty over 3 days ago
My basic warranty (its like bumper to bumper I guess) was over 3 days ago.
Would Mazda dealership still cover if I made an appointment to check some stuff that should be under warranty? Even though now its passed my date the 15th. But I called the dealership and made an appointment on 9th. Should they be covering the warranty? or they have right to refuse warranty since its after 3 days....
When I called the Rider mazda dealership at state college, PA. I talked to the service manager, he said he will have to call his rep to check if mazda will cover something thats 3 days late.....
I am not sure what to do.
Is there anyway I can call mazda corporate directly and explain the situation?
or what would you guys do?
Thanks in advance.

they do have the right to refuse it, unless it has been documented before that for the same problem
say, you had a weird feeling in your transmission, but they said no issues found, a week later, your cant even shift and your warranty is ova, they will probably cover it.

Now that your bumper-to-bumper warranty is over, start weening yourself off the stealership and work with your own mechanic. Dealerships are only good at one thing: charging you the $90 diagnostic fee and then tell you there is nothing wrong with your car. Stay away from them like the plague.
And don't be too optimistic about the powertrain warranty. Unless your engine flat out dies and won't crank, they aren't going to do f-ck all for you.
