Bent Rim...Help?!

Bent Rim...Help?!
LOVE you guys!
I've been "lurking" for a long time before/after buying my 8.
Looks like Christmas Eve wasn't too nice for me for I banked-up on a sidewalk ridge and bent my rim and deflated my tire.
I guess I felt like I was kinda stupid when I bought it, 'cause I got the lame "extra" warrenty offered by the dealer.
I tried to read through all of the policies of Mazda and the "extra" warrenty and can't really see what is going to be covered.
Does anyone have any experience in this? What should I tell the hotline so I get the best deal?
Thanks for everything!!!

Hey, thanks for the help. (By the way, I'm a gal....didn't want you to think I'm a guy loving all of you...even though there's nothing wrong with that! )
After checking things out a little more, looks like the weight of the car on the flat tire has cracked my rim. Ugh, looks like a new rim is in my future...to bad it isn't on an "after Christmas" Sale!

Welcome to the fold and many happy miles in your new RX-8! It's always good to hear from the ladies in forums like these.
The rim was most likely cracked form the impact not from sitting on a flat. Been there done that on my last car from hitting a pothole at 15 mph. I hope everything works out for you

Good part is that the Mazda rims are not -too- expensive. Shop around (on-line). You should be able to get a better deal than at the dealer. Try the vendors forum below. There is a Mazda dealer there who discounts parts.
