Minbxxx (11:34:10 PM): am i the only guy in the whole wide world loves body roll?
Minbxxx(11:34:22 PM): when drifting or racing?
Minbxxx (11:34:30 PM): its just the adrenaline of thinking you're going to flip your car
Minbxxx (11:34:32 PM): lol
Accordboi2k (11:34:41 PM): HAHAHAHAHA
Minbxxx (11:34:50 PM): geez..some people dont have that adrenaline rush
Minbxxx (11:35:04 PM): always wanting to lower the center of gravity..wanting stiffer ride
Minbxxx (11:35:08 PM): blah blah blah..screw that

wow, he sounds like a bright fella...

first of all, why would you want body roll at all? Miss the feeling of boating maybe?

and second...um...if he's liking the idea of drifting...an AWD isn't the best place to start.

I for one love the feeling right before i flip my car, and then sittin in the ICU for months on end, enjoying the view of the window from my full-body cast.

stupid.

He would like the 77 Olds Delta 98 I learned to drive on. That is a good way to experience body roll. Like driving a rolling pin.

From: In the hills between San Miguel and Parkfield - "up in the boonie lands", Central Coast of California, Wine Country
About a year ago I saw a midsized, badly balanced, too tall ,american car launch upward like a breaching whale, flip over, spin until luggage and passengers were scattered by centrifical force and I ended up doing C-spine on some poor kid until the ambulance could arrive - The driver had fallen asleep and went just a little off road and must have hit something that let the car become airborne, flipping and rolling and spinning like a top - total lack of stability .....
No flips, launches, spin-outs, or rolls for me - like nice little road hugging hunker down with wind and hi speed 8s!

When the olds is a'rockin, don't come knockin...

Did yours have bald tires as well? That car was a blast in the winter. I remember accidentally doing a 180 pulling out of a parking lot on a snow covered street once - ended up in the other lane facing the correct way. Made me look like I knew what I was doing...

I wonder how many owners here have made their car handle WORSE (slower around a given track) in their quest to eliminate ALL body roll?
