Leaving aside the easy pot-shot that organic means "grown in s**t," organic is not necessarily better. Chemicals used for non-organic foods protect the stuff against insect damage and rot. People gripe about chemical preservatives, but forget about the dangers of botulism.

Don't forget that the cost involved in buying the stuff may have adverse impact on other aspects of your life.
