Dropped the car off this morning for the 3305G recall only to return this afternoon to find they inspected the car and flashed the PCM to 38.7 Patch 3 (Filename SW-N321ES). Not sure what version it is, but if anyone has a clue I woud like to know...

So what does 'S' do?
They installed the blanket - only after I showed them the printout of the Recall directions that stated they had to. The tech tried telling me that they inspected it and that was all they needed to do. When I pointed out my car was Group 1 and it said right in the steps that any Group 1 vehicle NOT showing signs of above needed the blanket installed did they take it back into the shop and make me wait another hour for them to do it. The tech wasn't happy with me, but if I hadn't have noticed on my paperwork that they only inspected it they would have closed the recall without doing the work! Man am I so glad to be a part of this forum and learn to read / investigage everything the dealerships do to my car. Hopefully everyone else checks to make sure they do the recall right without just telling you it is all done and to trust them. At least the service people are very friendly and helpful when I ask questions.
BTW - this was Russell Mazda on Rt. 40 in MD.
