If the test is a sniffer test, no it won't.
IF the test is an OBD2 test, then yes, it will.
But be aware that the cat option for the BHR midpipe is for people that don't drive their engines hard. That cat has the shortest lifespan of any cat I've ever heard of on an RX-8. About 90 seconds of full throttle.
Personally, I don't think the cat option is worth the money, even for passing emissions. Get a catless one, and have a magnaflow cat welded into your current cat to use for emissions testing.

We have to OBD2 test here. Also thanks for the info.. The mid pipe is no charge for me Charles is taking back my Bhr motor mounts because I didn't like the vibration they caused, so he's giving me 100% credit for the mounts and I need a catted mid pipe or something because I gutted my cat a few months ago when it broke up from dropping it during a clutch change...
