Bird Crap...

Hey everyone,
I have a few questions for everyone. Well I brought a 2004 in Dec. 2004. Now I know the car sat for a little bit on the lot. So anyway, by sitting there, it consumed some bird **** on it. I quess nobody cleaned the crap off and it and now I have notice like 3 spots on the car where it is duller then the rest of the car. Is there anyway to remove the stain and make it the same as the rest of the car? Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Another question is with the headlights. I have searched and looked for information concerning headlight bulbs but couldn't find any pictures of anyone having what I want. Now I want to make the parking lamps, high beams and fog lights the same exact color or as close as possible as the xenon headlights. I want everything to be the same color when on. Any help, bulb types, tint colors of bulbs, websites and prices will be greatly appreciated.

Thanx again fellow 8 owners.

LoveMy8 -- Lots of good advice in the forum here called RX-8 Show and Shine. I tried to find something by doing a search on "bird poop" but I mostly got threads on killing birds. That's maybe more proactive than you want.

You might want to claybar the crap out of it. (heh heh) But search around in Show and Shine. I'm sure there's a lot of discussion on it.

you bought the car just 3 months ago?

Take it back to dealer and file a request/complaint to have the paint damage fixed (a full car polish?). If they give you the runaround, call the area Mazda customer service rep. The dealership needs to take better care of the cars on their lot before the sale. That is rediculous. Explain that you bought a new car and expect new car quality paint, not used car "who knows the history" paint. Considering the lack of Birds inmy area since december, it would be difficult for them to blame that damage as post purchase neglect. Not trying to get you to overreact, I just hate how some Mazda dealers give Mazdas a bad name.

On a side note- I use a water bottle to remove bird crap the moment I see it. Just spray it until it has dissolved away. I had a black Protege get a nice spot from a bird crap that I let set for several days. :-(

There a sticky thread on lights that I think you will find very useful, try the interior or exterior threads. I wanted to do the same, have all of the lights give that xenon blue look and the sticky really helped.

Did you already purchase the lights to go with the xenon lights? If so, where did you buy them, how much, and how are the final results? Indentical or so-so? Any pics? Thanx for your help
