Black Camaro Vs Black Shinka
Black Shinka loses
But it wasn't a race or anything like that. My tale is much more horrific.
I was parked at the lake for the 4th of July Holiday. Parked out of the way so no one could ding me or what have you, and out onto the lake I ventured. Ladies, Corona, and sunburn. When I retrun several hours later, I see a black Camaro parked beak to beak into my 8! He pressed my front bumper in about 4 inches and slid the whole car back about 8 inches, and the parking brake was set!!!
Though I was ANGRY I decided to let the law handle it. Long story short, the cops took care of it very professionally and found the Camaro at fault. I just got the estimate, somewhere's in the upper $700's to fix. The cop has all the photos so I have none to post. The big expense was the clear bra that needs to be replaced. I'm waiting to hear from their insurance.
(also, that front bumper must be memory plastic, because the hot sun did wonders on it a day later)
The Camaro was unscathed.
On a brighter note, I also drove from South Dakota to Wisconsin this weekend.
Cruise set at 76, 81 degree day, no wind (RARE), relatively flat terrain, 4000ish RPM, 91 octane 250 miles 10.67 gallons= 23.43 mpg!!. I was very very happy with that. The 2008 Jeep Wrangler V6 I was traveling with only got 17 mpg. And he wasn't having the fun I was having.
Cheers and hope you all had a better 4th than me!

I remember back in the day when I owned my sunfire I would forcibly move people who parked like ******** infront of me. I even had a girl park perpendicular behind me blocking me into a stall. I backed up and forcibly moved her out of the way. She tried to fight it saying I was at fault because I was the moving vehicle. The judge on the other had was more sympathetic. He said it was her own fault for being so ignorant and stupid. So I was free to go about my way.

Same thing happened to me recently. New car, only three weeks old and some **** nudged it in a car park, scratching the front bumper panel, pushing it out of alignment and causing a dent too. Thanks a million.

^^ no lie.
I can't believe he stayed parked either. I'm not advocating hit-and-run, but if I were in his shoes, that surely would have been an easy way out. He said he genuinely didn't know he had hit me. (DRUNKASS) The police didn't breathalyze him, but they basically told him he was f*ucked 6 ways from Tuesday.
Also, I didn't mention that when I got 23.43 mpg I had the A/C on full blast. All that adds up to gas milage that made me smile.
Cheers and still no word yet from his insurance.

parking lot mishaps are split fault (or called 50/50) here no matter who is at fault... meaning i can take a monster truck and squish as many cars as i wanted, only having to pay for the damage to my car.

If you've got a few people, most smaller cars can be moved easy.
Once in a crowded college parking lot, I and 4-5 other guys gradually moved a jetta about 10 feet. Took 5 minutes, and was funny (we left his car in a ridiculous position).
