Evilbada: You said: "I think 8 is the best looking car ever made in $30,000 range." Did you mean, cars that are one the market now, or, all cars ever in the $30k range. There are plenty of Ferraris, Jaguars, Porsches, Aston-Martins, Mercedes, and, Mazda (the FD), and others that once sold in the $30k range.

BTW... to keep this 100% on topic... I was a Ti lover. My neighbor has one. It's beautiful, but everyone has that color in the US, and I tend to like to be an individual. White sucks... another neighbor has that. I just hate white in general. Winning blue... nice, but a little bright. Sunlight sliver... loving it. With black or with black/red interior. A nice 2nd to Ti. Yellow... too loud. Green... may be a good choice as not many others have it. It's dark and subtle, but not black. Black... has moved up my list since seeing cortc's car and MazdaManiac's. They are too hot!

Ferraris, Aston Martins in $30,000 range are mostly beat ups.. or very old....
you know what I meant ..-.-;;
in 2004 models in $30,000 range, nothing can beat 8's design.
Name one if you can think of any..
and plz don't give me 350Z, cuz you know 8 looks better than Z

It all depends on your taste...
Dodge Neon SRT-4
2005 Ford Mustang GT (better styling, more power, and very likely better handling)
Subaru Imprezza WRX (STi is over $30k)
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

But back to the original question... I went back-and-forth for weeks among FOUR colors: black, red, silver, and Ti.
I finally came to the conclusion that you CANNOT GO WRONG with any of these colors. I finally got the Ti after ruling the others out:
Black -- hard to keep clean
Red -- thought I might get tired of it after a while
Silver -- too many silver cars out there (plus my last car was silver)
Don't worry, you would be very happy with either color -- just go buy the car!
