You should keep working with the texture and paint to try and get it to match the HU stuff better.

I am, I just bought a new different primer because im not overly impressed with the first type, this new primer should allow a greater shine.

still something you are not doing right... should be real smooth. Try using a 1200 grit wetsand, some wetsandable primer, and then use like a regular black with clearcoat instead of gloss black

Honestly i need to get some pics with a camera thats not my phone, I didnt bother sanding all the parts that are not seen but its extremely shiny in person and you can see a very clear reflection in it. Like mentioned above i could get it a little bit shinier but im happy with the results and just now need to get some guages for it lol.

Thanks for the extra help and input

Well installed one gauge today, cant decide what other gauge to put there. Overall came out really nice and it feels good to complete a project.

that one is a Vacuum gauge. Its the 7 color series from glowshift, its pretty cool, press the button and pick whatever combination of colors you like. When glowshift first got started i helped them out with advertisement using my old boosted car which drew alot of local car enthusiast attention so ever since they cut me some killer deals. Im going to get a oil temp and pressure gauge for down there and ill figure out something for the vacuum gauge.
