Bought my first car, used RX-8 :)
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that you have another RX-8 fan in the forum now
I bought my black 2004 RX-8 4 days ago and I'm so happy it's crazy, hehe... It's a really fun car to drive and as my first car it's really far beyond what I could imagine I'd be able to afford... I was originally looking at Audi A3, BMW 3 Series etc.. But then I saw my car advertised with an asking price I could afford it'd be stupid not to have a test-drive. So it was actually the first of many cars I tried, but I knew after driving it that this was going to be my car I'm so proud of it that it's hard to explain, hehe...
I've been reading up on FAQs / general threads here about care etc. so I'll be sure to ask questions if I'll have any (after searching of course).
Btw, the car is a 192 BHP, GT version, with 190 000 KMs (yeah I know, but I couldn't afford one that had less mileage). Lovely black paint and generally in great condition
I attached some pics I managed to take after washing it. Sorry for the quality, took the pics with my HTC Diamond Last one shows parking outside where I live, pretty sick to drive a car with 18" rims when there's been like 50 CM (20 inches) of snow here...
All in all I'm really happy and I hope to have the car a few more years and maybe make some money off it (got a pretty good deal) and buy a newer model

Don't dis your ride like that! It's not used...it's "experienced".
See...like I say...drive an 8 just once and you get spoiled. The other cars never even had a chance.
Congrats Krazy! You did the right thing.

Yeah, it only had one previous owner who was a salesman for HellyHansen clothing. He basically drove around the whole country promoting their products
All the services etc. were paid for by the company, so whenever there was even a slight problem he'd drop it by the nearest dealer not worrying about the costs
All I need now is to go to a Mazda dealer to buy some quality oil and check if has all the latest software upgrades installed

I wanted to ask a question. I just got my RX8 a few months ago and i wanted to lower the ride height. I was giving a set of DROPZONE Springs for free that lower the car about 2' . My car is completely stock with 18' rims. What do you guys recommend i add to the springs to make sure everything is good ? I'll take any suggestions.
