Break-in and Milage
This is my .02 so don't get all pissy and cry please
I have heard the break-in is roughly 2000 miles, not 600.... while in break-in period you should be driving semi-aggressive, don't redline or stoplight race or that crap, but take it to 6-7k rpms, play with it, get your shifting down pat, have a little fun. I'm not saying beat the **** out of it but you gotta let the engine breath, let it live a little... I've always been told if you treat a new engine like those parents that never let their kid go outside or play with the neighbor kids to not get sick or whatever, when they do get out when their older they get sick all the time. Take this however you want, like I said just my .02

i do generally trust owners manuals as they are quite comprehensive these days. i call them warning books because they have more warnings then info.
