Breaking In New Tranny?

Do you have to break in a new tranny?

I just got a new tranny from the dealer and they told me that there was no need to break it in--instructions were drive as normal. FYI--the new tranny was a little stuff at first but now it works like a dream--its 150% better then my last one.

I would say YES! just to be on the save side. I mean think of it like this; you get a new car you break it in. After all, all the parts are new.
