Brilliant Black with Black/Brown leather interior?
I assume mazda offered this combination, but I have never seen one. I really want to buy one though, I have a Velocity Red GT a/t w/ Black leather right now and I'd like to get something that looks a little classier in 6spd. I checked the Mazda site and they don't even offer the Black/Brown leather anymore. It's just sand, which is just sand colored and not two-tone.

I worked at Mazmart this summer and I'm pretty sure they have a black/brown interior. I could probably do that, because I've been searching through all sorts of RX-8s and I can't find one Brilliant Black with Black/Brown interior.

FWIW I always thought the stormy (?) blue with the light parchment (?, almost white) looked great. Not sure of the official color names.
Your idea sounds good. Wonder what BB would look like with a custom tan interior?

ha, yeah...
I actually saw a, eh, a black 350Z, at an upholstery shop that had just gotten custom black and tan leather interior and it looked really good, not sure how much it cost though. Unfortunately the owner planned on painting it lime green, haha.

That lime green is kinda cool, I just don't like the whole tuner kind of look. I like my cars like I my jesus, classy but still able to kick some ***.

well if you were to special order it from mazda it would probably cost the same. if you just bought cloth seats and saved yourself maybe 1000 dollars straight from the factory. then put an extra 200 bucks of your own money into it, you would get the interior that you wanted. does that make sence??

that's a good bit of money though, like getting close to the cost of ianetti ceramic seals. I think I'm going to just to do the interior swap thing if I can.

Also, there are some weird things with the cloth seats. for instance, they have different seat airbags.

The black-tan interior is OK but not my style; I went out of my way to find a BB 8 with just a black leather interior, which was much more professional and upscale in my mind. Plain black doesn't stand out, sure, but something about the stitching and baseball glove colour aesthetic didn't work for me. To each their own of course I agree with the other poster about the Stormy Blue with Sand leather combo, that is pretty sweet.

The plain black just gets like, uugh, this is so plain and it starts looking a regular old door panel or seat. Two-tone is like bam! yeeuh, it's actively good looking.
