Bring your feelings about Synaptic3 Performance
I am currently collecting funds for a project I am going to be putting my 8 through.
Yes it is engine swap but no I am not straying from rotary, unfortunately thats all I can and will say for now until I actually get the ball rolling i dont wanna get people excited till I find a shop I know can do the task.
I've been phone chatting with quite a few places and synaptic has really put my mind at ease and they way they sounded over the phone was that the task would be no problem for them.
Does anyone here have personal experiences with Synaptic performance good or bad that they can share please?!

I know these guys and they have my 8 there right now (turbo kit, oil coolers, custom piping, tuning, brakes, lines, suspension, and much more). they have been top notch and are taking care of me admirably. Ron is an electrical engineer and Dana/Ron have excellent long term experience with rotaries and a laundry list of industry contacts in all the right places. Highly suggested.

I live about 10 minutes away from Synpatic3, and i have visited them about 3 times. When i went i saw RPIRX-8's RX8 there, really beautiful car. I was amazed at the work being done to it, but i was even more amazed at their knowledge with rotary powered vehicles. They really know it all and are hands down the BEST shop in New Hampshire. They will take care of your car and they will give you what you want, the only problem, is they are a little pricey, $80 an hour, but their work is top notch. If you can afford them, do it, i am sure you will be 100% satisfied.

Awesome, I'm liking what I'm hearing. This will be a little bit of a drive for my 8 but hopefully it will be well worth it. I already gave ya guys the hint that I'm keepin it rotary. So here is another one. What rotary engine have they had success with getting 500-600hp out of but still have a great chance at 50k miles of reliability w/ proper tuning and care of course.

in related news, mazda has a 20b based renesis. might be worth looking into, but uh, i doubt its for sale.

I dont think I'd do a 20b based renesis engine. The 24b was actually the one I was considering swapping into at one point. As for the 13b-rew... All I can say is your getting warmer!
