Spin your wheels by launching at high RPMs and ease off the clutch (stop a little more than half way) and go in circles while tapping the gas.

Oh yea, DSC and TCS off. Then try not to be compassionate about your clutch and tires.

Feather the the gas pedal, don't floor it. Just get it down far enough to keep you going aroundin circles. Floor it to get the spin then let up a bit.

If you have an AT, put your car in Neutral and hit the gas! Then move down to Drive and go!

I was able to burn the tires and get a good launch at a 4k feather with no bog and little tire spin. I guess burnouts would be the same if your trying ot cause as little as damage possible to your clutch

All you have to do is rev the rpms untill it reaches redline and when you release the clutch have your steering wheel oversteered in whatever direction you want to go! If you have lots of money to burn this will not be a problem for you as the cost associated with doing this can be very high! If attention is what you are after this will definately get you noticed!

this is called neutral slamming. and its incredibly bad. like.. incredibly bad. its the worst possible thing you can do to an auto tranny. if you have enough horsepower. hold the brakes and gas at the same time. you might be able to get up to 2000 rpm or so, before the computer limits it. then let off the brakes and floor the gas at the same time. if you turn the wheels, you are much more likely to start sliding around.

in a manual car its easy. 4500 rpms and drop the clutch is more than enough to start burning money.

Okay, couple of points... to clarify...

A "burnout" is where you rev it up, drop the clutch, and move your left foot to the brake to hold the car stationary while the back wheels are smoking.

A "doughnut" is cranking the steering wheel and doing your smokey circles or figure 8's in the parking lot.

Okay, why in the fukk would want to do this? Are you kidding? I remember one of the first RX8 burnout videos from Judge Ito where he almost wiped into a dumpster. A burnout obviously can be done in an RX8, but it's certainly not a good car to be doing it in. It's waaaay too hard on it.

Let your car live. There's no point in doing a burnout in an RX8.

One technique that works is to pour 1 to 2 gallons of gasoline around the car and toss in a match.

Of course it works only once.

HA! Another advance of my post count.
