if you're in an area where it snows, snow tires go on the car...period. it only takes one time – and a mere dusting – to lose control of the 8 with the stock Potenzas.

you love to add to injury to insult dont you?

Been looking at the Mazda Speed front ends and they are pretty hot. Pricey, but not a whole lot more than if I buy the parts I need new. Might do it! What's the best place to get it? And if I get the Mazda Speed front end does it come with everything to replace what I killed? It's the whole front end, right?

Thanks again for all the help folks. You've been great!

I rent an apartment here in NY, as I did previously in Chicago. In both places I've found a friend and/or colleague from the office who offered to let me store the four wheels/tires in their attic, basement, or garage. I always offer to pay them a nominal "rent" or storage charge; so far everyone's said "don't be ridiculous" and insists on storing 'em for free. So I usually just bring a bottle of wine or gift when I come twice a year to switch tires/wheels.

You may also want to check under your car. The plastic skid plate may be busted or gone. The wheel well or wells may also be busted up. There is a diagram on this site that has a piece part diagram of the front end body panels.
