Get the '07. Its newer... and if the previous owner treated it like ****... doesnt really matter too much when it comes to the engine. (dont yell at me lol). Cuz you have 8 years of warranty with it... meaning you have it to 100k miles or 2015. Get one with 15k miles on it and your good until the end. The engine should be your only concern for the 8. Take care of it best you can, dont neglect it. Im not trying to scare you here, just tryin a lil preventative maintenance.

The car holds itself together through thick and thin. Its made to be driven like you stole it. Dont be afraid to push an NA rotary. The car was made to be an extension of yourself. You dont need to worry about anything else.

Read up on the forums here. AND I MEAN READ UP! You will get the best information for your car possible. Spend 2 weeks consistently reading these forums and you should get the main gist of it.

Word of advice. Check oil level every other fill up. Use MINERAL OIL 5w-30 at least (prevents warranty headaches). If it snows by you, buy new rims with summer performance tires. and put SNOW TIRES on your stock ones. You will need them. Remember the saying "One Redline a day keeps the carbon away!"

Ok awesome thank you for the information. I will definitely read up on these forums and find out some things. I was wondering if this might be a good deal...2007 RX-8 with 10k miles on it for $17,000..suggestions?
or possibly a 2004 RX-8 with 21k miles on it for $13,500
